In small group PTR we continue to work on segmenting and writing words. Two groups are working on buddy vowels (au, aw, o/oi,oy/ae,ai,ay/ for example) and are almost ready to tackle multiple syllable words. One group is working hard to master spelling the vowel sounds independently when they read, write, and spell.
Over this long 4 day weekend, it would be good to go over supplies with your child. Several students have used up their dry erase markers, crayons, glue sticks, and highlighters. I've brought in some additional dry erase markers and crayons (but those have been used) so it would be great if everyone can check about replacing/updating supplies.
When we return, our specials will be: PE, Music, and Counselor.
Have a fantastic and safe four day weekend! Mrs. C.
