In Small Group PTR, we continue to Spot the Vowel by Crossing the River, Word Ladders, and Word Cards. We are showing that we know our Screech Guides. Last week, we also focused on Reading: fluency and comprehension. This week, we will focus on building words.
Our specials this week: Music, PE, Art, Music, PE. We will go to the library on Wednesday.
No School next Monday for students.
I was hoping for some better news from the Concussion Specialist. While there is some improvement, (so thankful for that!!) there is not enough improvement to release Sarah back to "her life" (just wait until your child is 15 is all that I will say). So we will continue the physical and vestibular therapy and go back March 3.
Don't forget, students need coats, hats, gloves, ect and long pants and long sleeves. Our room can get chilly and if the weather reaches the magic temperature (at 10:30 and 11:50) we will go outside. Normally we haven't reached the high temp for the day by then. If we go out, students need coats that they can fasten. We've had a lot of friends out sick recently, and I want everyone healthy and here!
Congratulations to our student of the month, Brody Hawk, for leadership! Brody is a great leader!
Students have been working hard on Sight Words, Fry Phrases, and Math Fact Fluency. 14 of our class have passed all sight words! Thank you for helping them!
Have a great week! Mrs. C
